Frequently Asked Questions

How do you keep platform fees so low?

We keep costs low by focusing on what matters most to the dance community. We're dancers too - every dollar saved means more resources for your community. At 4.5%, we're lower than most competitors who charge 5-10%.

How do payment processing fees vary by country?

Stripe's fees vary by region. For example, European cards in the EU are 1.5% + €0.25, while Japanese cards are 3.6% with no fixed fee. Our platform fee remains 4.5% regardless of location. View Stripe's pricing for your country

Can I run free events?

Yes! There are no fees for free events. You only pay fees when you sell paid tickets.

What is "Pass fees to buyer" and how does it work?

When you enable "Pass fees to buyer" on a ticket listing, the service fee (platform + processing) is added to the ticket price at checkout instead of being deducted from your payout. This means you receive 100% of your ticket price. Buyers will see the ticket price and service fee separately during checkout for full transparency.

When do I receive my payouts?

Payouts are handled by Stripe according to your configured payout schedule. Most organizers receive funds within 2-7 business days after a successful payment.

Are there volume discounts?

Currently, we maintain a flat 4.5% fee for all events to keep pricing simple and fair. Contact us if you're running large-scale events and need custom arrangements.

What's the minimum ticket price?

Stripe requires minimum charge amounts that vary by currency (e.g., $0.50 USD, €0.50 EUR, Β₯50 JPY). Tickets must be priced above these minimums to process payments. View minimum amounts by currency
